Grow Business, Transform Gujarat" is the vision of Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) and its members. This vision is shared by the Youth Wing of GCCI too, with focus on the young entrepreneurs.
Mission of Youth Wing
The Mission of Youth Wing Committee is to encourage creation of Young Business Leaders from Gujarat as well as to provide a common platform for the Young Leaders to interact and connect with each other for growth and development of their businesses.
What are the advantages of becoming YW member? What is the scope of activities?
Through their leadership seminars, the Youth Wing Committee provides a platform for the young entrepreneurs to meet, listen, discuss, and learn from the best entrepreneurs of the industry. Youth Wing Committee also organizes mentorship programs where mentors help, guide and direct the youth wing members to scale up their existing business. Youth Wing members also represent themselves in the Core committees of GCCI. We have 2 members each in committees of GCCI.
The Youth Wing Committee also organizes lecture sessions with top CEOs or Entrepreneurs of the State. The committee periodically arranges Youth wingers Connect series for awareness of business operandi; discuss challenges; overcome them with peer learning and increase bonding among members
Is there any annual fees to become member in Youth Wing?
To become a YW member one has to have active voting membership of GCCI. The Applicant has to fill the form of YW and submit the form to GCCI. Youth Wing membership committee will interview the applicant and then approve the applicant’s membership for the Youth Wing. There is no additional fee for becoming a member of the Youth Wing. What are the criteria to become member in GCCI YW and what is the process.
To become a Youth Wing member, the person:
1. Must have an active voting membership of GCCI 2. Should be below 40 years of age 3. Member should be either director, proprietor, partner in Pvt Ltd/ Ltd/ LLP firm 4. Most importantly the applicant should have a zeal for exciting opportunities arising out of Speaker Series, Networking and Mentorship. The member should be open to discussion aimed at growing one’s business through this strong platform.
