A kitchen Gardening workshop was hosted by Dr.Prachi Desai wife of Shri Parth Desai (Chairman-GCCI Youth wing) at The terrace restaurant of Global adda , s g highway,  for the women and spousal members of GCCI Youth wing. It was attended by 25 enthusiastic participants.

In todays times it has become necessary to learn how to grow ones own food and what better than microgreens. They are highly nutritious and easy to grow.

The workshop was conducted by Girish Vaghasia , a horticulturist. He talked about basics of Kitchen Gardening, different types of Soil, different media, amount of watering and sunliight, protection from animals and insects, layering of seeds amongst other things. Participants also had a question answer session where problems faced routinely were solved. Everyone was given individual kits of seeds, pots and medium to do hands on and to take it home. It was followed by hightea and snacks.

Youth wing Spousal member Mrs Heli Shah(wife of committee member Jainam shah) had sponsored Hand made beautiful colorful aprons from their Label Jagruti.
All in all it was a great time for the members to meet out in open after long and learn about kitchen Gardening.
