Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry had signed Memorandum of Understanding with China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Guangdong Committee in august presence of Hon’ble Chief Minister of Government of Gujarat Smt. Anandiben Patel. Shri Rohit Patel, President, GCCI, signed the said document along with Zhang Hua, from China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Guangdong Committee. CCPIT comprises VIPS, enterprises and organizations representing the economic and trade sectors of China. It is the most important and the largest institution for the promotion of foreign trade in China. The aim of CCPIT is to operate and promote foreign trade, foreign investment, to introduce advanced foreign technologies, to conduct activities of Sino-foreign economic and technological cooperation in various forms, with the purpose to promote the development of economic and trade relations between China and other part of around the world. GCCI and CCPIT from Guangdong province desired to strengthen communication with the aim of all-round and multi-field cooperation in economy, technology, culture, education and tourism between the two countries and even agree to share mutual benefits, keep friendly communication, make the most of their resources and channels to build platforms and identities of interests in the promotion of economy, trade, technology, culture, education and tourisms sectors to promote the sustainable development between the sides.

Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI), Gujarat, India and the Tomsk Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TCCI), Tomsk, Russia and to create increased trade and investment opportunities for the Gujarati and Russian companies in both of our countries and respective states, the GCCI and TCCI will work in close collaboration with the respective Governments to achieve these goals and further to enhance the liaison and cooperation between our respective organizations in the areas of economic development in key sectors including but not limited to Import-Export, Investment, Business Information and Government policies and other commerce oriented activities to the exclusive benefit of the members of both the organizations.

Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) and the Turkish Indian Chamber Of Commerce & Industry (TICCI) had singed Memorandum of Understanding on Strengthening Turkey – Gujarat cooperation in the fields of economic development in key sectors Investment, Taxation, Business Information and Government policies, Import-Export and other commerce oriented activities to the exclusive benefit of the members of both the organizations. In an agreement with the above goal and objectives and recognizing that reciprocal protection of such investments under an agreement will subserve the aforesaid objective and will be conducive to the stimulation of individual business initiative and will increase prosperity.

Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) of India and Yunnan Provincial General Chamber of Commerce (YPGCC) of China had singed Memorandum of Understanding on Strengthening, Gujarat –Yunnan Cooperation in the fields of economy, trade, investment, legal affairs, consultancy services, technology and markets of their respective countries. Publications between both are also to be exchanged periodically.

The MOU was signed between GCCI and Qatar Chamber on 3/9/2014 with the objective to foster the development and the diversification of commercial exchanges and economic cooperation on a mutually advantageous basis between their respective members.

To step up cooperation between the Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI), Gujarat, India and the Rupandehi Chamber of Industry (RCI), Nepal, entered in an MoU to create and increase trade and investment opportunities for the Gujarati and Nepali companies in both of our countries and respective states, the GCCI and RCI will work in close collaboration with the respective Governments to achieve these goals and further to enhance the liaison and cooperation between our respective organizations in the areas of economic development in key sectors including but not limited to Import-Export, Investment, Business Information and Government policies and other commerce oriented activities to the exclusive benefit of the members of both the organizations.

The MOU was signed between GCCI and Thanh Hoa Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Agency, Vietnam with the objectives of increased trade and investment opportunities for the Gujarati and Vietnamese companies in both countries and respective states. The GCCI and Thanh Hoa Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Agency will work in close collaboration to achieve these goals and further to enhance the liaison and cooperation between our respective organizations in the areas of economic development in key sectors including but not limited to Import-Export, Investment, Taxation, Business Information, Immigration and Government policies and other commerce oriented activities to the exclusive benefit of the members of both the organizations.

The Business Women Wing of Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI), entered in an MoU with Christian Union Organisation for Education Development, Economic and Social (UNICODE), a non-government organisation (NGO), Established in 1999, headquartered at s/c Info House, B. P. 558, Kpalimé, TOGO, West Africa. The area of activities for this MoU is as described below; Areas of activities: GCCI - Business Women Wing is able to support Christian Union Organisation for Education Development, Economic and Social (UNICODE) through online data & information to train UNICODE women members GCCI - Business Women Wing is able to share motivational success stories of it’s women wing entrepreneurs GCCI - Business Women Wing is able to welcome the Delegations from Christian Union Organisation for Education Development, Economic and Social (UNICODE), Togo (West Africa) to India, as well as to send GCCI - Business Women Wing Delegation to Togo, (West Africa) with the purpose of Cooperation and development of activities which may extend to any fields and subjects to promote the social, economical, cultural and educational interests of women entrepreneurs GCCI - Business Women Wing is able to guide Christian Union Organisation for Education Development, Economic and Social (UNICODE), Togo (West Africa) in conducting training program GCCI - Business Women Wing is able to train Christian Union Organisation for Education Development, Economic and Social (UNICODE), trainers in the subject of women entrepreneurial

Desirous of creating conditions for fostering greater investment by members, and members’ companies cooperation between Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) and the Regina & District Chamber of Commerce (RCC) entered into an MOU with the below key objectives; A) To create increased trade and investment opportunities for the Gujarati and Canadian companies in both countries and their respective states. This MOU was signed between GCCI NRG Wing and Leicestershire Asian Business Association as an extension of the earlier MOU signed between the organizations. The MOU was signed between GCCI NRG Wing and Europe India Chamber of Commerce with the objectives of a) promotion and expansion of bilateral trade and industrial relations b) information exchange and knowledge sharing c) promoting trade missions and exhibitions organized by the countries d) provide information about reputed doctors, hospitals and other medicals facilities for healthcare matters to visiting businessmen e) assist visiting delegates in finding out proper housing and real estate propositions f) advise on investment and legal matters through prominent advisors in the field g) provide information on travel and accommodation.

Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Embassy of Belarus in New Delhi, India entered into an Agreement of Cooperation with the objectives of a) promotion and expansion of bilateral trade and industrial relations between the two countries, and ensure a wide range of participants therein including SMEs b) information exchange and knowledge sharing c) encourage joint ventures and technical collaborations and assist the existing firms in operating in the jurisdictional area of the countries d) promoting trade missions and exhibitions organized by the countries e) provide information to visiting businessmen f) resolve barriers to trade and industry g) give due consideration and weightage to the recommendation letters for grant of visa issued by GCCI to its members and h) recommend to the respective commercial authorities measures to increase trade and economic co-operation between the two countries.

 Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the High Commission of the Republic of Malawi entered into an Agreement of Cooperation with the objectives of a) promotion and expansion of bilateral trade and industrial relations between the two countries, and ensure a wide range of participants therein including SMEs b) information exchange and knowledge sharing c) encourage joint ventures and technical collaborations and assist the existing firms in operating in the jurisdictional area of the countries d) promoting trade missions and exhibitions organized by the countries e) provide information to visiting businessmen f) resolve barriers to trade and industry g) give due consideration and weightage to the recommendation letters for grant of visa issued by GCCI to its members and h) recommend to the respective commercial authorities measures to increase trade and economic co-operation between the two countries.

 The MOU was signed between GCCI and Indo-African Chamber of Commerce & Industries with the objectives of a) exchange of trade and investment related information b) exchange of publications and information of bilateral trade c) development of joint venture and technology transfers and investment d) exchange of trade inquiries and e) exchange of trade delegations.

An MOU was signed between GCCI and Indo-African Chamber of Commerce & Industries in which facilities for expeditious authentication of documents from African Embassies/Consulates were provided to the members of GCCI, and GCCI was given the permission to extend such services to its members in coordination with the Indo-African Chamber of Commerce & Industries.

The MOU was signed between GCCI and Indo-Arab Chamber of Comm. & Ind. Mumbai with the objectives of a) exchange of trade and investment related information b) exchange of publications and information of bilateral trade c) development of joint venture and technology transfers and investment d) exchange of trade inquiries and e) exchange of trade delegations.

 An MOU was signed between GCCI and Indo-Arab Chamber of Comm. & Ind. in which facilities for expeditious authentication of documents from Arabic Embassies/Consulates were provided to the members of GCCI, and GCCI was given the permission to extend such services to its members in coordination with the Indo-Arab Chamber of Comm. & Ind.
