Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industry has organized an awareness webinar on Process & Industrial Safety Standards for all types of Chemical/API Industries jointly with Gujarat Dyestuff Mfg. Association (GDMA), Gujarat Chemical Association (GCA) and Indian drug Mfg. Association (IDMA) on February 21, 2022 at GCCI in the presence of Office Bearers of GCCI,GCA,GDMA,IDMA and Sr. Officials of Director Industrial Safety & Health, Ahmedabad.

Shri A.U.Vekariya, Assistant Director (Chemical), Director Industrial Safety & Health, Ahmedabad shared information about how to Prevent Accidents, Process Safety, Act and Rules applicable for Prevention of Industrial Accidents,Responsibilities  of occupier under the factories  Act-1948,sustainable industrial development, chemical storage, ways to safely load/unload of chemical , safety in chemical process etc.. through a detailed presentation.

On the request GCCI and other associations, Shri A.U.Vekariya agreed to arrange such awareness program in various industrial areas of Gujarat and will share his booklet on Process & Industrial Safety Rules in vernacular language.

The seminar witnessed participation of more than 120 representatives from industries, and associations.

The webinar concluded with questions from participants.
