The Logistic Committee, Travel tourism task force & FTTF jointly organized this webinar to know and understand the status of this project and future plans for the same. Shri Natubhai in his well come address informed the importance of Dholera airport and its significance with DSIR & DMIC. Shri Dinesh Gupta welcomed the speaker and gave a brief introduction. Shri Amit Chavda gave a detailed presentation highlighting all the details. This project is of > RS 4400 CR and out of that RS 2800 cr contracts are awarded. Apart from Passengers traffic this airport would focus on Cargo movement and also MRO (Maintenance Repair Operation). Its expected to commence its operation by December 2024. The quarries raised by the participants were adequately responded by the speaker. A delegation of GCCI would plan a visit to the site for further inter action.
