The MSME Committee, Business Women committee, of Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industry organized a seminar on - Delayed Payment, TReDS Benefit and Arbitration for MSMEs jointly with MSME-DI, Ministry of MSME,Govt. of India at : Hridya Kunj, (Auditorium) MSME- DI, MSME-Tower Near CIMS Hospital, Sola Science City Road, Sola, Ahmedabad.

Shri Tarachand Jain, Chairman, MSME Committee, Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industry in his opening address explained theme of today’s programme and appreciated MSME-DI, Ahmedabad to create such a wonderful infrastructure for MSMEs in Gujarat.

Shri Vikas Gupta, Joint Director, MSME-DI, Ahmedabad welcomed all the participants and give a brief information about the infrastructure created recently for promotion of MSMEs in Gujarat. He appreciated the both the committees organizing such interesting seminar for MSMEs in their premises.

There were three speakers as follows.

Speakers explained about how government support the MSMEs to recover the dues from their customers and various provisions made under the MSME–D Act 2006, along with creation of support system to help the MSMEs through MSE Facilitation Council. They also explained about MSEFC, TReDS and Arbitration etc. They informed about various provision has been made under the Arbitration Law to resolve the disputes.

In Question Answer session various questions raised by the participants and speakers very positively replied all of them.
