Interactive meeting with the Taiwan delegation

Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industry in association with VERBIND, TiE Ahmedabad and GESIA today organized an interactive meeting with the Taiwan delegation at GCCI Premises. The delegation was led by Mr. Daniel Lee.

In his welcome address Shri Rohit Patel, President, Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industry welcomed the delegation and highlighted India as the 5th largest market for Photovoltaic in the world and Gujarat as Asia’s largest ‘Solar Park Hub’.

Shri Bipin Patel, Sr. Vice President, GCCI welcomed the other delegates for Taiwan.

Mr. Daniel Lee introduced his fellow delegates and gave a brief about their companies. He addressed the participants and explained advantage of doing business with Taiwan for Solar & Photovoltaic sectors.

Mr. Amitsingh Gohil, ED, TiE Ahmedabad addressed the participants on the theme of ICT & Solar Energy and invited Taiwanese Start Ups as well as entrepreneurs to Gujarat.

Mr. Pankaj Shah, Past President, GESIA mentioned that ‘business runs in DNA of Gujaratis’ and remarked that Gujarat is the place which provides conducive eco system for manufacturing facilities. He also explained how Taiwanese technology combined with Gujarat’s capital will give advantage to both countries.

Mr. Ravin Bhojani, GM, VERBIND mentioned World Trade Center as the forum for Trade infrastructure, investments and Joint Ventures. He also mentioned how WTC can play the role of mediator by providing the pavilion of “Made in India and Made for India”. He stated that WTC would be a local access to Global Network and Global Access for local Companies.

Mr. Ravin Bhojani’s address was followed by Question and Answer session where the delegates responded to the participants’ queries.
