Mr. Anil Jain, Chairman of the Foreign Trade Task Force, GCCI welcomed ms. Amrita D'mello, The Public Engagement Specialist from the US Consulate General, Mumbai. 

After the Introduction of GCCI, Ms. D'mello explained the various focus areas of the US Consulate office in current times. Ms. D'mello stated the training and support imparted by the US Consulate in making India ahead of China by various webinars, training and personalized support in the areas of: Climate Change, Trade between India and the USA, & Public Diplomacy.  

Mr. Anil Jain asked various questions to benefit all the manufacturing industries of Ahmedabad like the Pharma, Engineering, Chemicals, Textile etc and further showed interest in a tie-up for GCCI members for this type of training from the US Consulate. 

To exchange knowledge and boost the industries in both the countries, the meeting ended.
