Description :	Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industry organized an interactive session on the New Industrial Policy 2020 with Dr. Rahul Gupta, IAS Industries Commissioner and Chairman iNDEXTb, Government of Gujarat on 22^nd January 2021 at 3 PM Shri Natubhai Patel, President, Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industry in his welcome address appreciated the new industrial policy released by State Government, which has most aspects of the Industries. He appreciated that the Government has taken a significant step by de-linking incentives from State GST, with capital subsidy linked to the Fixed Capital Investment for setting up manufacturing projects in the State and by offering the incentives to relocate to attract investment from organizations looking to move out of China and other countries in view of COVID – 19 Dr. Rahul Gupta, IAS made a detailed presentation on the new industrial policy 2020. In his address he stated that the present industrial policy is the people’s policy as it has covered many of demands raised by the representatives of industries. He further stated that even MSMEs can also opt for the benefits. He highlighted the key points of Industrial Policy and stated that State has delinked incentives from State GST upto 12% in capital subsidy The function was attended by Office Bearers & Executive Committee members of Gujarat Chamber, Presidents & members of Regional Chambers and Association Members of GCCI.
