Labour and Industrial Safety Task Force of Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industry has organized an Awareness Webinar on Gujarat Fire Prevention & Life Safety Measures Act -2021 jointly with Gujarat Dyestuff Mfg. Association (GDMA) and Gujarat Chemical Association (GCA) on July 09, 2021 at GCCI.

In his welcome address, Shri Rameshbhai Patel, President, GDMA, applauded the new amendment of the Gujarat Fire Prevention and Life Safety Measures Act. Dr.Jaimin Vasa, President, Gujarat Chemical Association shared objective of the webinar. Shri Ambar Patel, Chairman, Labour & Industrial Safety Task Force, GCCI and Shri Yogesh Parikh, Chairman, Environment Task Force, GCCI gave introduction of speakers.

Shri Rajesh Bhatt, Additional Chief Fire Officer, AMC appreciated the new amendments implemented by government & ensured that all industries problems will be resolved shortly after introducing of new online portal. Shri N.M.Tabhani,Ex-Dy.Chief Environment Engineer, GPCB highlighted on the importance of environmental cell in industrial area. Shri Swastik Jadeja, FSO Specialist Cadre, Gujarat state gave presentation in detailed on Fire Safety Law, Industrial Public Safety Management, Basic Fire Safety Measures, Fire Safety Approval Procedure and Fire NOC.

The seminar witnessed participation of more than 100 representatives from industries, regional chambers and associations.

The webinar concluded with questions from participants and Vote of Thanks by Shri Sachin Patel, Hon.Treasurer, GCCI.
