On Thursday, 23rd December, 2021, GCCI Business Women Committee organized Programme on “Cow Based Green Economy of India” at GCCI Premises.

The event was graced by Chief Guest, Dr. Vallabhbhai Kathiria, Ex Chairman, Rashtriya Kamdehnu Aayog, Govt. of India and Dr. Falguni S. Thaker, Director, Animal Husbandry, Govt. of Gujarat. 

Shri Hemant Shah, President GCCI in his speech welcomed our esteemed guests and audience to

the event. He also added that under the guidance of Government of India and Gujarat to develop Agriculture and Animal Husbandry with use of new technologies.   

Smt. Kusum Kaull Vyass, Chairperson, Business Women Committee, brief all participant about the programme.

Dr. Vallabhbhai Kathiria, Ex Chairman, Rashtriya Kamdehnu Aayog, Govt. of India, remarked that Cow

breeding has huge opportunity in Employment as well as Health and Economy. He emphasized on the usage of Cow’s Urine in Medical Field and cow dung in making of products such like Fibers and Idols.  

In his speech Dr. Falguni S. Thaker, Director, Animal Husbandry, Govt. of Gujarat, remarked about various schemes of Government of Gujarat for Animal Husbandry. She also added that government is keen to increase such income sector.

Ms. Runal Patel, Co-Chairman, Business Women Committee concluded the event by presenting vote of thanks. Women members attended the event in large numbers.
