Today, IPR Task Force & Business Women Committee of Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized seminar on Basics of Patent, Trademark, Design and Copyright.

Shri Jatin Trivedi, Chairman, IPR Task Force, GCCI in his welcome address stated that this seminar was aimed at simplifying and explaining the nuances of Trade Marks, Designs, Patents and Copyrights and how it is helpful to women entrepreneurs in identifying the IP and their innovations contributing in the Economy.

Dr.Nidhi Buch, Head, GNLU Centre of IPR gave an insight on Patent and Industrial designs. She also highlighted on Legislative framework, essential requirements of patentable invention and industrial designs.

Ms.Vidhi Trivedi , Advocate, Nanavati & Nanavati Advocates  in her  address discussed on Trade mark and Copyrights. She mentioned in her address about types of different trademarks, benefits of trademark with example.
