Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industry (GCCI) Hosts Inaugural GCCI Gujarat Sustainability Summit 2025: A Net Carbon Neutral Event! 

With over 30 distinguished speakers, international experts and industry leaders, the summit fostered meaningful dialogue on Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) initiatives, setting the stage for a greener, more sustainable future.

???? Shri Sandeep Engineer, President, GCCI, emphasized that ESG is no longer a buzzword but a global imperative, urging businesses to align with evolving sustainability standards to remain competitive.

???? Shri Jaxay Shah, Chairperson, Quality Council of India, highlighted Gujarat’s leadership in sustainable industrial growth and introduced the PRIDE framework as a roadmap for India’s sustainable future.

???? Shri Sameer Sinha, Chairman, ESG Taskforce, reiterated the importance of collective action, urging stakeholders to translate discussions into actionable initiatives for a sustainable tomorrow.

???? Shri Apurva Shah, Vice President, GCCI and Shri Gaurang Bhagat, Hon. Secretary, GCCI, also graced the event, underscoring the chamber’s commitment to driving sustainability and supporting MSMEs in their ESG journey.

The summit also achieved carbon neutrality by offsetting 16 tonnes of CO2 emissions through a Miyawaki Tree Plantation initiative, with over 650 trees to be planted.
