GCCI welcomed a distinguished delegation from JETRO, JMC and METI, featuring notable members such as Ms. Akari Tsukamoto, Ms. Mina Kobayashi and Ms. Kanna Hasegawa. They were joined by representatives from JETRO Ahmedabad including Mr. Yu Yoshida (Director General), Mr. Satoru Iida (Senior Director) and Mr. Sanchit Oza (Director).  

The meeting was honored by the presence of Shri Rajesh Gandhi, Sr. Vice President, GCCI who warmly welcomed the delegation. Discussions centered on strengthening India-Japan relations in the water sector, highlighting Japanese expertise while exploring innovative solutions in areas such as water supply, sewerage systems, desalination, wastewater treatment and recycling. The participants also discussed plans for an upcoming Water Business Seminar aimed at promoting sustainable water management practices.
