Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industry held a flag hosting ceremony at the Chamber on Sunday 15/08/2021 to mark the 75th anniversary of Independence under the "Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav" started by Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendrabhai Modi. The event was specially attended by the students from Apnag Manav Mandal and Bahera Munga School. In his speech Shri Natubhai Patel, President of the GCCI, said that celebration with the Divyang students is a divine occasion for the Chamber. He said that India has achieved food self-sufficiency in the first 25 years of independence, has undergone an industrial revolution in the second 25 years and has developed in the field of advanced technology during the last 25 years. He mentioned that every citizen should adopt the principle of cleanliness as preached by of the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhiji and said that we have to raise our voice wherever there is uncleanliness. He further said that Gujarat Chamber would periodically organize various programs for public interest during the year to celebrate “Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav.”

The function was attended by the office bearers of the Chamber, members of the Chamber and staff members.
