Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industry and Rajkot Chamber of Commerce & Industry organized a special program of interaction with Hon'ble Chief Minister Shri Vijaybhai Rupani on Industry and Trade of Gujarat.

Shri VP Vaishnav, President, Rajkot Chamber of Commerce & Industry and Honorary Secretary (Regional), GCCI welcomed the participants in the program.

Shri Natubhai Patel, President, Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industry thanked Hon’ble Chief Minister for sparing his valuable time to meet & communicate. In his  theme address , shri Natubhai Patel highlighted on some issues like to reducing  the time of night curfew, to reserve suitable  space for farmer / consumer market in the Draft TP.,scheme, to  promote t Kutchh area  as furniture hub, to develop Morbi as an industrial cluster, also to reduce the rate of performance deposit taken by State Public Sector Units (PSUs) to 3%, to  extend the deadline  for availing  the benefit of SGST Concession till  25-7-2021, Exemption of up to 300 persons in social / marriage occasions in districts with low COVID positive cases, Abolish or refund stamp duty applicable on Government Emergency Credit Line (GECL) loans, amend Solar Policy 2020, allocating space for solid waste site, abolish professional tax in the state etc. He requested Shri Vijaybhai Rupani to give relief in such issues.

Hon'ble Chief Minister Shri Vijaybhai Rupani in his key note address stated that the government is always ready to meet the expectations of the Mahajans and mentioned that he

would join the meeting every 4 months to revitalize Gujarat's trade and industry. He further stated that a separate meeting will be organized to discuss the issues of GPCB. Shri Vijaybhai Rupani counseled to abide by the rules of GST, rules of NGT etc. decided by the Central Government. He also gave brief information about the Solar Policy and the New Industrial Policy 2020 announced by the Government recently.

The function was attended by Office Bearers & Executive Committee members of Gujarat Chamber, Presidents & members of Regional Chambers.
