• GCCI organized an Interactive Seminar in association with Gujarat University on 9^th October, 2018 at 03.00 PM

 at Gujarat University.

• In his Welcome Address, Dr. Jaimin Vasa, President GCCI mentioned innovation means providing ideas out of

the blue, leading to significant discoveries and achievements. However, there is more to it than that.

• Dr. Himanshu Pandya, Vice Chancellor, Gujarat University while addressing the students said that Gujarat University’s campus is fully equipped with various world class facilities to support every aspect of learning, research and innovation.
• Ms Nilam Gadani, Patent Agent & Advocate, H K Acharya & Company conveyed the schemes introduced by Government of India for promotion of IPR some of them are like- Cell for IPR promotion and Management (CIPAM) and National Intellectual Property Rights Policy.

Dr. Gordhan Patel, President, JP Laboratories, Inc talked on Innovation and disruptive innovations. Dr. G N Patel in his presentation, focused on different areas of research on use of Nano technology for TTI (Time temperature Indicator) for perishables items, SBIR programs of US Government, Radiation Therapy Film, Synthetic Blood (Oxygen Carriers) for emergency, RED Triage Card ideal for emergency Dosimeter etc.
