GCCI hosted an interaction with Japanese delegates from The Shizuoka Chamber of Commerce and Industry & Hamamatsu Chamber of Commerce and Industry, led by Shri Mukesh Patel, Hon. Consul of Japan in India & Past President, GCCI.

Shri Rajesh Gandhi, Sr. Vice President, GCCI, welcomed the esteemed guests, including Mr. Kishida Hiroyuki, Chairman, The Shizuoka Chamber of Commerce & Industry; Mr. Saito Kaoru, President, Hamamatsu Chamber of Commerce & Industry; Mr. Kawai Masashi, Managing Director, The Hamamatsu Chamber of Commerce & Industry; Mr. Odagi Toshiro, Section Chief, The Hamamatsu Chamber of Commerce & Industry; and Mr. Toshihiro Kaneko, Acting Consul, Consulate-General of Japan in Mumbai.

The session focused on fostering partnerships between Gujarat and Japanese companies, economic security, and a proposed MoU for the 2025 World Expo in Osaka. The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Shri Navroz Tarapore, paving the way for enhanced trade, investment and skill development.
