GCCI’s Insurance Taskforce, Mahajan Sankalan Taskforce and Gem & Jewellery Taskforce jointly organized an insightful seminar to raise awareness about insurance.

Shri Apurva Shah, Vice President of GCCI, emphasized the importance of insurance in safeguarding lives and businesses, especially in unpredictable times. Shri Gaurang Bhagat, Hon. Secretary of GCCI, highlighted that in today’s dynamic business environment, understanding the right type of insurance is crucial for both personal and business security. Shri Parth Desai, Chairman of the Insurance Taskforce, addressed the specific insurance challenges faced by traders and jewelers, stressing the need for industry-specific solutions. Shri Rajiv Shah, Insurance Expert and Renowned Insurance Surveyor at Mehta Padmsey, highlighted the importance of accurately determining valuations and selecting the right policies to manage risks. Shri Manoj Mathur, Senior Manager at SBI General Insurance, discussed the necessity of tailored insurance solutions for specific industry needs. Smt. Shila Lodhi, Senior Manager at IFFCO Tokio Insurance, emphasized that insurance is essential for protecting businesses against unexpected crises. Shri Vipul Mehta, Chairman of the Gems & Jewellery Taskforce, acknowledged the significance of insurance in the jewelry sector and the importance of comprehensive coverage for businesses. 

The seminar concluded with a vote of thanks from Shri Ashish Jhaveri, Chairman of the Mahajan Sankalan Taskforce, who expressed gratitude to the speakers for their valuable insights and to the participants for their active engagement.
