Rising rapidly, he became the General Manager of Hindustan Packaging, a joint venture between Tetra Pak and NDDB, eventually serving as Managing Director under V. K. Kurien. In 1994, he moved to Ahmedabad as Director of Vadilal, before embracing entrepreneurship.

In 1998, he founded the Unnati Group of Companies with the mission to help individuals and organizations explore their unlimited potential, achieving both success and fulfillment. A thought leader and author, Shri Taneja emphasizes that setbacks are merely “unsuccessful attempts” on the journey to success, urging us to view challenges as opportunities.
