IPR & Legal committee of Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industry has organized webinar on Legal Talks Series for Industries. The subject of the second series was “Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016 (IBC)” conducted on 19th December.
Shri Jatin Trivedi, Chairman, IPR & Legal committee highlighted the objective of this webinar series that it is focusing on regular and day-to-day issues faced by the industries. Shri Hemant Shah, Sr.Vice President, GCCI apricated IPR & Legal committee to arrange such educative webinar for MSMEs.
Shri Jaideep Sharma, Advocate, IPR & Legal Committee member gave introduction about speaker Shri Pavan Godiawala, Advocate. He is practising in corporate laws since last 22 years. In his address, Shri Godiawala enlightened on various topic of IBC i.e , what is IC code 2016, it’s applicability, who can file petition, time period required to file, committee of creditor (COC), resolution of applicant, how to contest petitions etc..
During the course of seminar several questions were raised & responded satisfactory.
The webinar concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Shri Jaideep Sharma, Advocate, IPR & Legal Committee member, GCCI.
