Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industry (GCCI) successfully commenced its business summit, GCCI Annual Trade Expo (GATE 2025), today at Vigyan Bhavan, Science City, Ahmedabad, bringing together delegates to discuss Gujarat’s economic future. Key moments from the inaugural day:

Chief Guest Shri Amitbhai Shah, Hon’ble Union Home Minister & Minister of Cooperation, Govt. of India, virtually addressed the summit, emphasizing the need for a 25-year roadmap for Gujarat  and GCCI's growth, digital integration, and MSME empowerment. He also highlighted Gujarat’s significant achievements in infrastructure, electrification, and manufacturing, while praising GCCI for its enduring contributions to Gujarat’s industrial progress. 

Guest of Honour Shri Bhupendrabhai Patel, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Gujarat, shared the state government’s vision for sustainable industrial growth, focusing on water conservation, environmental sustainability, and the Prime Minister’s vision for a "Viksit Bharat."

Esteemed Guest Shri Balvantsinh Rajput, Hon’ble Minister of Industries, Govt. of Gujarat, discussed Gujarat's industrial growth trajectory and the state’s initiatives, like the Bulk Drug Park and Textile Parks, to support MSMEs and position Gujarat as India's manufacturing hub.

Shri Sandeep Engineer, President, GCCI, presented the Chamber’s vision for fostering public-private cooperation and supporting sustainable industrial growth. He expressed his gratitude to the Hon’ble Chief Minister for his continuous support to Gujarat’s industrial sector, emphasizing GCCI’s role in driving economic development and creating a conducive environment for businesses. 

Shri Pankajbhai Patel, Chairman, Zydus Group, stressed the critical role of entrepreneurs in building a prosperous nation, urging industries to focus on innovation, next-gen capabilities, and adapting to global changes. 

Smt. Pratibha Jain, Hon’ble Mayor of Ahmedabad, Shri Jinal Mehta, Vice Chairman & Managing Director of Torrent Power Limited, Shri Apurva Shah, Vice President, GCCI, Shri Ajay Patel, Immediate Past President, GCCI, Shri Gaurang Bhagat, Hon. Secretary, GCCI and Shri Sudhanshu Mehta, Hon. Treasurer, GCCI, were also present, marking their support for the event and its significance to Gujarat's economic future. 

The day also featured insightful discussions on sustainability, renewable energy, and MSME growth, providing actionable strategies for businesses. The exhibition floor buzzed with over 300+ exhibitors creating valuable networking and collaboration opportunities.
