The 71st Annual General Meeting of Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) was held today at GCCI Premises, Ashram Road and was followed by the Installation Ceremony of the New Team of Office Bearers for the year 2021-22.
The Annual General Meeting was attended by GCCI members from across the state of Gujarat. In addition to the usual agenda points, important amendments in the Constitution and Regulations of GCCI were also passed unanimously by the members in the AGM. Further, the names of Executive Committee members who were Elected Uncontested were declared and congratulated during the AGM.
After conclusion of the Annual General Meeting, the Installation Ceremony of the New Team of Office Bearers for the year 2021-22 was held. The Ceremony was attended by GCCI members, other eminent dignitaries from the trade and industry fraternity, representatives from leading press and media, well-wishers and family members of the Office Bearers and other elected members of the Executive Committee.
The event started with brief address by the Office Bearers of the year 2020-21 who addressed the gathering and shared their experiences during the past year. Hon. Treasurer (2020-21) Shri Sachin Patel, Hon. Secretary (Regional) (2020-21) Shri V.P. Vaishnav, Vice President (2020-21) Shri K.I. Patel and President (2020-21) Shri Natubhai Patel shared their experiences and thoughts with the gathering and thanked all for the support lent to them during the year.
This was followed by the handover of charge to the new Office Bearers. Shri Hemant Shah took over as the new President, Shri Pathik Patwari took charge as the Senior Vice President and Shri Sanjeev Chhajer took over as the new Vice President for the year 2021-22. The newly installed Office Bearers addressed the audience and shared their vision for GCCI for the new term.
GCCI President (2021-22) Shri Hemant Shah shared a presentation titled GCCI Vision 2021-22 with the gathering where he highlighted the 4 pillared approach which will be adopted by GCCI for the year 2021-22. The presentation made by President Shri Hemant Shah is attached.
Finally, Shri Pankajbhai Patel, Chairman, Empowered Apex Committee, GCCI addressed the gathering and conveyed his well-wishes to the New Team of Office Bearers.
