• GCCI organized an Interactive Seminar in association with SEPC on 29^th September, 2018 at 03.30 at GCCI Premises.
• In his Welcome Address, Dr. Jaimin Vasa, President GCCI mentioned that GDPR is meant for the benefit of individuals & institutions who have created intellectual property.
• Mr. Sunil Talati, Chairman, Talati & Talati and Central Governing Council Member, SEPC highlighted that SEPC

is working aggressively in creating awareness about GDPR, GST, Services Exports from India Scheme and

any other issues related to exports of services.

• Mr. Manuel Gallo, Chief Operations Officer, EMEA, Lleida.net gave presentation on GDPR Solution Compliance with Explicit Consent and Consent Proof. He also mentioned that Lleida.net has strength in turning most processes from analog to digital while being a digital witness for the same gives us the edge.
• Ms. Sangeeta Godbole, IRS and Director General SEPC stated that data protection is crucial for our citizens as personal data protection is a fundamental right across the globe. However, when our industry tries to comply with the EU’s GDPR India also needs to consider the cost of compliance. We also have to achieve a balance between increasing business opportunities and complying with the data protection regulation.
