Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industry (GCCI), through its Gujarat Chamber Foundation (GCF), had signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Lxs Foundation for Girls Innovation Centre Located at Khadia, Ahmedabad.

GCCI & LxS foundation are coming together to collaborate for accelerating efforts towards strengthening “Female Innovation” and
“Developing Social Heritage”. The initiative focuses on revitalizing Government Girls High School located at Khadia (having heritage status of Grade (II) and developing an Innovation Center for Underprivileged girls of Ahmedabad & Gujarat. 

In addition to GCCI, the Project is supported by Education Department of Gujarat-GOG, UNESCO Delhi, Alliance Française d'Ahmedabad and Indian National Trust for Art & culture (INTACH). 

Core objective of this collaboration are as follows; 

Set a model example for Sustainable social heritage development under collaborative approach of CSR & Industry philanthropy through development of Innovation Center for underprivileged girls.

Make Ahmedabad UNESCO heritage an epicentre of Education Tourism. 

Endeavour to formulate National level policy guidelines to support nationwide policy reforms for implementing social heritage.
