One Day industrial visit of Dahej –SEZ was organized by Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Foreign Trade Committee, under the leadership of committee Chairman, Dr. Jaimin Vasa accompanied with delegation of 26 members from different esteem organizations.

Delegation visited following ports:
1. Adani Petro net (Dahej) Port Pvt Ltd.
2. Gujarat Chemical Port Terminal Company Limited
3. Birla Copper Limited
4. Meghmani Group of Industries

Objectives of this Tour:-
1. To educate all the members of the delegation and personally experiencing the handling and movements of Cargos from Port and it logistic issues
2. Interaction with executives of each ports and industries which will help members in their business activities
3. Networking and Interaction among members of the delegation
4. To create confidence among the members of the delegation
5. Exposure of handling many activities at Port

Delegation started from GCCI & first visited at Adani Petro net (Dahej) Port Pvt Ltd., Dahej and
had meeting with Capt. AshishSinghal, General Manager and Mr.Tirth Dalal of Adani Port then taken details of activities of Adani port by presentation. Dr. Jaimin Vasa, Chairman, Foreign Trade Committee had given GCCI’s presentation which included various activities conducted by GCCI as well as details about different committee members and office bears and their role. Adani Port officials had given memento to all the delegation members. Dr. Vasa also gave memento to all Senior Adani Port Officials on behalf of GCCI.

After Adani Port all the delegation members were taken to Gujarat Chemical Port Terminal Company Limited (GCPTCL).Mr. Suresh Gupte and Mr. Sanjay Bansal received the delegation members and shown how they are handling hazardous chemical cargos and non-hazardous chemicals cargos and solvents.

Afterwards delegation visited the adjacent port Birla Copper Limited (BCL).They taken members on Jetty & explained the excellent arrangement of transferring the raw-material through pipe conveyor to their plant.

Lastly members visited to Meghmani Organic Limited (MOL). At Meghmani, members were welcomed with by Mr.M.A. Hania,Sr. Vice President (Meghmani Group). Mr. Hania had shown their two plants - one is Chlor Alkali Plant and other one is Captive Plant for Power Generation.

This industrial visit was well arranged & too informative for all delegation members.
