GCCI’s Banking and Finance committee along with MSME committee organized an interactive seminar on 'Facilities & Opportunities in Export & Import Trade.' Shri Sandeep Engineer, President, GCCI, emphasized EXIM trade's role in Gujarat's industrial growth and India's goal of becoming the third-largest global economy. Shri Surendra Shah, Chairman, Banking & Finance Committee, GCCI, delivered the theme address, stressing the need for innovative policies to navigate global trade dynamics. Shri Sanjay Rudra, Executive Director, Union Bank of India, highlighted Gujarat's progress, praised 'Make in India,' and called for bank-industry collaboration to drive export growth. He also emphasized One District One Product policies and FTAs as key growth factors.

Shri Akhilesh Kumar, Zonal Head, Union Bank of India, presented on Gujarat’s role in cross-border trade, showcasing the state's industrial strength, infrastructure and global trade advantages.
